What is fiber optic provisioning?
Fiber optic provisioning refers to the process of registering and configuring a device over fiber network. With ISPGestión you will be able to easily carry out the complete process of registration, modification of the configuration and cancellation.
Compatibility
We currently support Huawei GPON OLTs, ZTE and Televes, Besides the NuCom EPON OLTs.
As for the ONT's compatible, as long as they are compatible at the hardware level with the OLT, they can be provisioned from ISPGestión.
If any specific model is not available, we can integrate it easily.
Even though recommend use ONT's from the same manufacturer as your OLT, this is not strictly necessary (as long as the OLT allows it), being able to use, for example, a ZTE ONT on a Huawei OLT.
In addition, from ISPGestión you will be able to view the configuration status of any ONT simply from its serial number, regardless of the provisioning method used.
This is very useful during the migration process from other software to ISPGestión.
You will also be able to consult the status of the optical link and a history that will help you determine if there have been any drastic changes in the signal since the moment the equipment was installed.
You will also be able to view the status of the Ethernet ports to see if they are operating at the maximum speed they allow in addition to the registration status of the phone line.
Finally, with the help of an ACS server, we can also configure, for example, aspects related to the Wifi connection of the ONT as well as those related to VoIP telephony.
Soon, we will also have a GIS system available that will allow you to graphically visualize your fiber network on a map as well as the different elements that make it up (CTOS, splitters, etc).
