Systems Technician

We are looking for a candidate for a Technician job position in ISPGestión.

We need you to have experience in the following tasks:

-Structured cabling installations,

That you have handled tools related to physical connectivity, certification, crimping, connectorization, etc.
-Management of drills and various DIY tools and clamping systems.
-Installation of infrastructure equipment, UPS, audiovisual wiring, etc.
-Installation and configuration of network electronics, switches, routers and firewalls, Wi-Fi. Security cameras.
-Knowledge of WiFi networks, coverage studies, physical installation, configuration and support of APs.
-Support and resolution of connectivity incidents.

We want for our team a proactive person who likes tinkering, with a solid foundation in networks and deep knowledge of Servers, GNU/Linux mainly. Previous experience in managing Virtualization and Monitoring Systems will be positively valued. Knowledge of configuration and deployment of web applications (Apache, Nginx, ...) and management of Mail servers.

Essential

Have established knowledge of GNU / Linux and Networks. Have established bases of IPv4 addressing.
CCNA degree or equivalent or demonstrable similar knowledge.
Know the OSI model and know how to correctly differentiate between layers 2 and 3. Be fluent with the Terminal and SSH access. Know the concept of VPN and know how to use it with ease.
Have basic knowledge about virtualization.
Have knowledge about the operation of the radioelectric spectrum and the behavior of waves in protocols such as WiFi.

Desirable

Programming skills in Python, and Bash.
Previous virtualization experience in VMWare, Citrix or Proxmox.
Knowledge and experience with Routers and Switches from Cisco, Juniper, Mikrotik or Huawei.
Experience with VoIP management.
Knowledge of PPPoE, VRRP, VLAN protocols, Knowledge of PHP, Javascript, HTML5 and other Web programming technologies.
